Toolangi Chardonnay is sourced from the winery's low cropped, hand harvested Chardonnay vines, a combination of I10V3 and Mendoza clone.

The grapes are crushed and pressed. The juice with its full solids is sent directly to French oak barrels, a mix of new and seasoned, for wild yeast fermentation. After around 10 months on lees in oak, the wine is prepared for bottling.

Bright yellow, Toolangi Chardonnay has juicy fruit flavours, fine flinty characters and a light savoury edge extending through the long finish. Cellaring potential is three years.
