Minnow Rosé

Shadowfax Minnow Rosé is a blend of Mourvèdre, Shiraz, Carignan, Cinsault and Pinot Noir, all sourced from the winery's dry grown vineyard at Werribee.

Grenache (from the Pyrenees) adds extra spice to the wine. Warm days and cool nights during the growing season make it perfect for the Werribee varieties in the blend.

Immediately after harvest, the handpicked fruit is gently whole bunch pressed to ensure minimal colour and tannin extraction. Both primary and malolactic fermentation occur naturally in seasoned French oak.

The wine remains on lees for five months before it is blended and bottled.

Pale bronze, Shadowfax Minnow Rosé is a dry, bright wine with fine tannins and fresh, acidity. Best enjoyed chilled. Drink now.
