Slaughterhouse Paddock Shiraz
Wine
Heathcote Winery Slaughterhouse Paddock Shiraz is grown on an old cattle holding yard planted to vines in the 1970s. These vines are now some of the oldest in Heathcote.
The fruit is handpicked and open fermented. Some is included as whole bunches to add structure and depth to the wine. It is then aged in new American oak barrels to develop layers of complexity.
Inky red, Heathcote Winery Slaughterhouse Paddock Shiraz has bold dark berry flavours with cedary oak spice and a lasting finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
