The Octavius Old Vine Shiraz

Yalumba The Octavius Old Vine Shiraz is sourced from a patchwork of tiny old vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. The average age of the vines is greater than 80 years.

The Barossa Valley Shiraz provides richness, density and concentration, while the cool freshness of the Eden Valley Shiraz lends exotic aromatics and seamless structure. All fruit is handpicked.

After fermentation the wine undergoes maturation for 20 months in one third new French and American octave barrels; American, French and Hungarian hogsheads; and seasoned French oak.

Purple red, Yalumba The Octavius Old Vine Shiraz is a dense, brooding wine that has earned its reputation as one of Australia's iconic Shirazes. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
