Wine
Torbreck The Struie is a Shiraz typified by cool climate characters. It blends fruit from elevated 80 year old Barossa Valley vineyards with a smaller parcel of grapes drawn from the cooler Eden Valley.
The parcels of dry grown fruit are selected for their individual properties. After fermentation the wine matures for typically 20 months in French oak, a small portion of which is new. The wine is then bottled without fining or filtration.
Deep garnet purple, Torbreck The Struie is medium to full bodied with layers of dark cassis fruit flavour, hints of spice and silky tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
