Adelaide Hills Aglianico
Wine
Spinifex Adelaide Hills Aglianico is sourced from vines rooted in the quartz shot clay and granite of Caj Amadio's high altitude vineyard near Kersbrook in the northern Adelaide Hills.
The grapes are destemmed, wild fermented and spend two weeks on skins. The juice ferments and matures in French oak with a portion in stainless steel tanks. The wine is bottled at 10 months without filtration.
Dark purple, Spinifex Adelaide Hills Aglianico is perfumed with dense black fruit flavours, fresh tannins and juicy acidity. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
