Parker Coonawarra Estate First Growth is made only in years that produce exceptional quality fruit and wines that show extended ageing potential.

The Cabernet Sauvignon backbone of this wine draws from the estate Abbey Vineyard. Small portions of 95 Block Merlot and Petit Verdot are included in some years.

Fermentation and extended skin maceration occur over 30-36 days. The wine is then pressed to a selection of new barrels from renowned Bordeaux cooperages to mature for up to 24 months with regular racking.

Once it is bottled, the wine rests in strict temperature controlled conditions before release.

Deep red purple, Parker Coonawarra Estate First Growth is full bodied with driving fresh fruit flavours and oak spices wrapped in fine tannins.

An elegant yet powerful Coonawarra Cabernet. Cellaring potential is 20 years.
