Leston Cabernet Sauvignon

Howard Park Leston Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of fruit from the estate's Leston Vineyard at Wilyabrup in Margaret River. The soils are shallow lateritic gravels over sandy, clay loam.

All fruit parcels are hand sorted and fermented in stainless steel. Select parcels remain on skins post ferment to enhance the tannin profile, while others are pressed at dryness to capture fruit vibrancy.

Each parcel matures separately for 18 months in new and seasoned French oak barrels. The wine is fined with egg white and filtered prior to bottling.

A deep garnet, Howard Park Leston Cabernet Sauvignon is layered with ripe dark fruit flavours, hints of spice and long, fine tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
