Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Brookland Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from individual parcels of premium estate fruit grown in the heart of Wilyabrup in Margaret River.

The vineyard's proximity to the Indian Ocean means warm summer temperatures are ameliorated by cooling ocean breezes, resulting in gentle ripening and full flavour development.

Close to harvest the fruit is checked almost daily to ensure a perfect balance of fruit flavour and natural acidity. The grapes are handpicked and open fermented on skins for 10 days, then basket pressed.

The wine is racked and inoculated for malolactic fermentation. It matures for 18 months in new and seasoned French oak. Only the best barrels are selected for the final blend.

Bright dark red, Brookland Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is full bodied with velvety tannins, outstanding structure and persistent length.

Made only in exceptional vintages. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
