Mt Dove Pinot Syrah

Devil's Corner Mt Dove Pinot Syrah is grown against the backdrop of the remarkable Hazards Mountains, including the wine's namesake Mount Dove, on Tasmania's east coast.

It is a blend of Pinot Noir and Syrah (Shiraz) fruit destemmed and left to cold soak for several days. During fermentation, the juice is pumped over the grape skins up to four times a day.

The wine is then sent to French oak barrels, a proportion new, where it undergoes malolactic fermentation during the spring.

Deep magenta, Devil's Corner Mt Dove Pinot Syrah is a rich, concentrated wine with bright berry and peppery characters. Cellaring potential is five years.
