Hand Picked Shiraz + Viognier

Yalumba Hand Picked Shiraz + Viognier is sourced entirely from the Eden Valley. The fruit is selected from vineyards that distinguish themselves during the year.

Most of the juice is separated from the Viognier fruit. Only the skins are kept for fermentation with select parcels of Shiraz. Other parcels of Shiraz are chosen to ferment with a small whole bunch inclusion.

All batches are then drained, pressed and racked to French oak barrels for maturation. A portion of the oak is new.

Deep red purple, Yalumba Hand Picked Shiraz + Viognier is a smooth, spicy wine with fleshy fruit flavours and a long finish. Cellaring potential is seven years.
