Barossa Valley Rosé
Wine
Spinifex Barossa Valley Rosé is a blend of old vine Barossa fruit, primarily Grenache and Mataro. It is mainly sourced from dry grown, hand harvested bush vines.
The grapes are chilled overnight and crushed. The juice spends a short time macerating on skins to build colour prior to pressing and light clarification.
The juice is fermented with a mix of indigenous and cultured yeasts, almost exclusively in stainless steel. A tiny fraction ferments in seasoned French oak. The wine matures on lees for several months prior to blending.
Pale salmon pink, Spinifex Barossa Valley Rosé is a fresh and delicate wine with good fruit weight. Best soon after release.
