1968 Vines Cabernet Sauvignon

Brand's Laira 1968 Vines Cabernet Sauvignon is made with fruit from the winery's oldest Cabernet block, situated on Coonawarra's classic terra rossa soil.

Handpicked grapes are passed through an optical berry sorter, which removes any overripe or underripe berries prior to crushing. The selected fruit is transferred to oak vats for fermentation.

After hand plunging on skins, the wine is pressed and returned to the same barrels for about 18 months of maturation. Only limited quantities are made.

Ruby red, Brand's Laira 1968 Vines Cabernet Sauvignon has dark berry flavours and elegant structure with a fine, silky finish. Cellaring potential is 20 years.
