Cornelius Single Vineyard Pinot Gris
Wine
Scotchmans Hill Cornelius Single Vineyard Pinot Gris is made with fruit handpicked from a single site on the Bellarine Peninsula near Geelong, known for its cool maritime climate.
The fruit is whole bunch pressed and its free run juice is sent to French oak barrels. After wild yeast fermentation, the wine matures for six months with regular lees stirring. It is then blended, fined, filtered and bottled.
Bright straw, Scotchmans Hill Cornelius Single Vineyard Pinot Gris has a savoury backbone with rich fruit flavours and a mineral edge. Cellaring potential is five years.
