Adelaide Hills Syrah
Wine
Michael Hall Adelaide Hills Syrah draws from the Fife Road Vineyard at Mount Torrens in the Adelaide Hills, which lies at 480 metres elevation on fractured yellow clay soils.
The fruit is handpicked and destemmed, then open fermented with hand plunging. After 10 days on skins, the wine is sent to French oak to mature. It is bottled with no fining or filtration.
Deep red, Michael Hall Adelaide Hills Syrah is a cool climate wine with sweet fruit flavours and spicy complexity. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
