Shiraz

Katnook Estate Shiraz is sourced from distinguished estate vineyards grown onterra rossa soils in the heart of Coonawarra.

The fruit is typically destemmed, crushed and fermented with cultured yeast. Select parcels of wine are matured in French and American oak barrels to add complexity and suppleness. Only a small percentage of the oak is new.

Deep plum purple, Katnook Estate Shiraz has layers of red berries, peppery spice and subtle oak with lingering, fine grained tannins. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
