Sellicks Foothills Shiraz

Angove Family Winemakers Sellicks Foothills Shiraz draws from the estate’s most southerly and coolest source of Shiraz fruit, sitting high above McLaren Vale.

The fruit is fully destemmed and crushed. It ferments in small, open concrete fermenters using yeast selected from northern Rhône in France. Careful hand plunging and gentle pump overs extract colour and flavour from skins.

Once dry, the wine is pressed and racked to French oak puncheons for nine months of maturation prior to bottling.

Crimson purple, Angove Family Winemakers Sellicks Foothills Shiraz has red berry and spicy flavours reinforced by soft tannins. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
