Wine
Murray Street Vineyards Red Label The Barossa GSM is a blend of the Barossa Valley's holy trinity of varieties: Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro.
Each is sourced from the estate vineyard at Greenock on the Barossa's western ridge. This hillside vineyard is home to mature vines sited on deep red clay soils.
The fruit is crushed and fermented in open air, temperature controlled fermenters, receiving pump overs and plunging throughout. The wine is then pressed to tank and settled.
Maturation takes place in oak specially selected to enhance the wine's structure. Most of the barrels are seasoned French and American oak.
Bright crimson, Murray Street Vineyards Red Label The Barossa GSM is medium bodied with bright red fruits and soft, round tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
