Wine

Fowles Wine Ladies who Shoot their Lunch Wild Ferment Shiraz is grown on the granite landscape of the Strathbogie Ranges. The harsh soils produce intensely flavoured grapes.

The fruit is cold soaked for 24 hours. It is then fermented with wild yeasts which, though slightly unpredictable, build complexity.

The wine is then divided into many components for 12 months of maturation. Some parcels are aged in new and seasoned oak barrels of various sizes, while other mature in stainless steel to maintain fresh, fruity characters.

Red purple, Fowles Wine Ladies who Shoot their Lunch Wild Ferment Shiraz is medium bodied with berry flavours, spicy oak and silky tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
