Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Pinot Gris is drawn from the Little Hampton Vineyard, sited 700 metres above sea level in the Macedon Ranges. The altitude helps retain natural acidity in the grapes.

The fruit is whole bunch pressed to release its full flavour profile. Natural fermentation occurs in seasoned French oak barrels. The wine is then left to age slowly on lees over nine months. It is racked and filtered prior to bottling.

Straw green, Shadowfax Macedon Ranges Pinot Gris has strong fruit flavours, barrel ferment complexity and sherbet acidity. Cellaring potential is two years.
