Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Franc Merlot

Woodlands Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Franc Merlot is typically an equal blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, sourced entirely from the Wilyabrup Valley in Margaret River.

Like all red wines at Woodlands, the grapes are gently destemmed by a gravity fed system then passed over a vibrating sorting table. This ensures dry, shot and unripe grapes are not included in the wine.

The fruit is fermented in small stainless steel fermenters, followed by maturation in French oak barrels for 14 months

Deep crimson, Woodlands Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Franc Merlot is medium bodied, with bright acidity, a pop of red fruits and lattice like tannins. Cellaring potential is five years.
