Wine

Dominique Portet André Pierre Cabernet Sauvignon is named after Dominique Portet's father, the late vineyard and winery manager of Château Lafite-Rothschild in France.

Made only in exceptional vintages, the wine honours 10 generations of the family's winemaking heritage.

The grapes are handpicked from old, carefully tended estate vines. The fruit is mechanically sorted, destemmed and gently crushed. It ferments on skins to develop flavour and complexity.

The wine is then matured for 18 months in new and seasoned tight grained French oak.

Dark crimson, Dominique Portet André Pierre Cabernet Sauvignon has rich dark fruit flavours, refined structure and silky tannins. Cellaring potential is 12 years.
