Estate Cabernet Merlot

Brookland Valley Estate Cabernet Merlot is sourced from the estate vineyard which slopes down to the Wilyabrup Brook. It is the last land holding before the brook reaches the Indian Ocean.

The grapes are handpicked from close planted vines and hand sorted to ensure only the best bunches make it to the open fermenter. They are fermented with indigenous and selected yeast strains.

Following malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for 12 months in French oak. Individual barrel selections make up the final blend.

Scarlet red, Brookland Valley Estate Cabernet Merlot has intense red berry flavours, fine tannins and lasting length. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
